Bugeye Weedless:
Built on a razor sharp forged EWG offset hook, the Starlotackle resin head design is now weedless! Perfect for hunting elusive fish in super skinny water and over snags.
Our standard weight weedless resin jig heads are built up on a #1 EWG hook which is a bit larger than our regular #1 90 deg. jig heads, and will suit 80-100mm wrigglers, or a 60-80mm flickbait. The standard weight jighead has 2 x lead ballasts to bring the total weight of the head to just 0.9g for a nice slow drop.
In place of the conventional keeper wire is a stainless loop and compact hinged bait spike with two barbs which firmly holds onto the front end of the soft plastic bait for a perfect presentation, but swings aside when rigging.
A silicone stopper is provided to aid in securing the soft plastic bait in position. We also have the same heads outfitted with a running tungsten weight, an additional 0.4g, bringing the weight of each head to 1.3g.
