Jet Pack v1 - Ikura Red

Want to give your 'Worm Burners' (and your bait) a literal boost? Equip the jet pack!

This little pack features a bunch of foam floats and silicone stoppers which can be combined with our Worm Burners to provide the following extra benefits:

1. The floats provide extra, tune-able buoyancy down-line of your sinker to keep your bait off the bottom and in eyeshot of your target species.
2. The stopper keeps the float close to the bait and the worm burner over the eye of your hook, to more consistently protect the leader and knot from bite offs
3. The fluorescent finish of the float and stoppers provides greater visual attraction to your rig.

Our jet packs come in four sizes:

• 7.0mm: Each pack contains 18 floats and the same number of stoppers. This pack is well suited to our No.6 Worm burners (sold separately, the No. 6 size comes in a pack of 12)
• 8.3mm: Each pack contains 15 floats and the same number of stoppers. This pack is well suited to our No.4 Worm burners (sold separately, the No. 4 size comes in a pack of 10)
• 10 mm: Each pack contains 12 floats and the same number of stoppers. This pack suits applications with heavier tackle.
• 12 mm: Each pack contains 10 floats and the same number of stoppers. This pack suits applications with heavier tackle.

Different sizes of floats, and multiples of floats, can be configured for heavier baits, if required. To assist in configuring, approximate buoyancy per float is provided (i.e. the amount of weight required to pull the float down when it's fully submerged)

• 7.0mm: provides -0.12 grams buoyancy (freshwater) per float
• 8.3mm: provides -0.22 grams buoyancy (freshwater) per float 
• 10mm: provides -0.39 grams buoyancy (freshwater) per float 
• 12mm: provides -0.72 grams buoyancy (freshwater) per float 

And the jet pack doesn't have to be used with our Worm Burners; it can be used with bait on its own, with squid skirts, or further up the line as a bite indicator for unweighted rigs.
