Designed for the beach angler, our 3D printed TPU Worm Burners provide two benefits: Firstly, they allow for less bait worm to be rigged to the hook, acting as an 'extender' and visual attractor. Secondly, they fit over the leader knot, helping to guard it from sharp teeth, to prevent undue strain or abrasion on the leader, and avoid spooking fish when taking the bait.
Worm Burners are printed dead straight, and superior to other tube products which are typically cut from a coil of tube (and will have a slight bend in them) which can cause the tube to spin or whip on retrieval. After twisting or bending, these will return back to their straight form.
These are formed in a mixture of ruby red and luminescent (glow in the dark) white TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) which is commonly used for things like mobile phone cases; flexible and yielding, but tough and UV resistant.
The design is hollow down the middle and easy to thread, with a flared end for the hook eye, and a segmented, finned design to emulate the shape and markings of a marine worm. The burners come in a strip within the packet, and can be snipped and removed one at a time using side cutters. You may need to trim excess from the end prior to rigging.
